Congratulations to the AB Marching Band who competed at the US Bands New England Invitational held at UMass Amherst on September 28th.

The band performed ‘Visions in Blue’ and did an excellent job!!

The ’24-’25 ABRHS Marching Band season steps off on Monday, August 12th at 9am. A reminder that rehearsals for the week are 8/12-8/15 from 9am-9pm and 8/16 from 9am-3pm. There will be breaks for lunch and dinner.

Tickets for the ABRHS Music Department Spring Concert are now available for online purchase at Groton Hill Music Center.

This year’s concert is Spring in Motion: from Pixels to Playbills. Pixels to Playbills features music from prominent stage and screen composers, celebrating the connection between music and modern visual media, including musical theater, film, and game scores. After an amazing concert in 2023, we are thrilled to be welcomed back at Groton Hill for another memorable evening of band, chorus and orchestra performances – see you on May 8th!

Join us at the “Swing into Spring” Swing Night, on Friday, April 12th, 7:00 – 10:00 PM, in the ABRHS Lower Gym.

Enjoy live jazz music by the RJ Grey and ABRHS Jazz Bands, ABRHS Jazz Combos, AB Orquesta de la Revolucion, and the Soft Touch Big Band.

Swing Night is fun for all ages—come to dance or to just listen.

Tickets will be sold at the door, $5 for students and seniors, $10 for adults.

Light refreshments will be available and are included in the ticket price. See you there!
