The marching jacket, bib pants, raincoat, and competition shirt are returned to the band closet for storage each summer. Here’s how that works.
Seniors ONLY
Graduating seniors who are marching in the Memorial Day Parade will turn in their uniforms in the cafeteria immediately following the parade. Items to be returned include the uniform jacket and bib pants, raincoat, and competition shirt. The polo shirt, gloves, shoes, hangers, and garment bag are yours to keep. Seniors will pay a fee to cover the dry cleaning; the amount will be announced prior to the parade. Any seniors not marching in the Memorial Day parade should return their uniforms with underclassmen as described below.
Seniors MUST turn in their uniform before they can receive their cap and gown!
Underclassmen
All students, whether returning to band or not, must return their uniform jacket, bib pants, raincoat, and competition shirt at the end of the school year. The collection dates and times will be announced, but students must have their jackets and bib pants dry cleaned and their raincoats and competition shirts washed and dried prior to the scheduled return. For students retuning to the band, their uniforms will be labelled and stored over the summer, and refitted during band camp in the late summer.
The Uniform Committee will email details about the uniform return process in May, prior to the parade and uniform collection dates.
