Marching Band 101 Reminder – Mandatory for New Parents!

A reminder that we will be hosting Marching Band 101, a training and Q&A session for parents who are new to the ABRHS Marching Band program.

Meeting is August 17th at 07:30 PM in the AB Junior High Band room. Enter through the backdoor, which is near the entrance gate to the ABRHS Football field. (You’ll see us in there!)

The ABRHS Marching Band program is a significant and unique experience, and this meeting will go over:

  • Introduce ABFOM and officers
  • What your students will be doing during band camp and the upcoming football/marching season
  • How to volunteer to support your students and the program
  • Uniform care and maintenance
  • Expectations of you, the parent
  • General questions and answers

The meeting will end at 08:30 and parents will be able to go out and watch the band.

Band Car Wash Fundraiser! (August 20th)

Join us on Saturday, August 20th for the AB Music Program Summer Car Wash!

It’s a lot of fun and the proceeds go toward the music program and supporting the kids.

There will be a student sign-up sheet in the band room for the kids to pick slots where they can come help out.
Ensure that your student signs up for at least one slot!
The car wash is run in short two-hour shifts so that everyone can participate and no one has too much fun (or sun!).
