ABFOM parent volunteers support the students in all ABRHS music programs: band, color guard, orchestra, chorus. Many of our ABFOM volunteers are senior parents who will be vacating their positions at the end of the school year. We are seeking enthusiastic new volunteers to fill the following positions:

IMPORTANT UPDATE

There will be NO AUDIENCE for tonight’s short chorus concert. Students will perform for each other only (as we do in school) and there will be a video of the concert available shortly afterwards. All safety protocols will be in place to support us while we continue to safely make music as we have done for the past year.

Winter Concerts are back!

The ABRHS Orchestra will present its Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 17th.

The ABRHS Band will present its Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 15th.

The ABRHS Choruses will present its Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 21st.

All concerts start at 7pm in the ABRHS Auditorium. Masks are required.

 

The Mads can’t wait to sing at Mechanics Hall this Wednesday December 8 at noon for the Mechanics Caroling Concert. The concert will feature Leonardo Ciampa, and Organist & Composer • Olga Lisovskaya, Soprano • ABRHS Madrigal Singers • Anna Maria College Bel Canto Chamber Choir. FREE and open to the public. You can also catch the performances via live-stream on 90.5FM  wicn.org.

HEY BAND! It’s time to dry clean your uniform! Take your jacket and pants to Colonial Valet within the week. Colonial Valet at 252 Great Rd. in Acton will give you a discounted price, but you can use your favorite local dry cleaner, if preferred. 

Prep—

✅ Remove neck liner (wash at home, machine wash cold and hang dry).

✅ Remove all cords and braids.

✅ Check pockets.

✅ Leave safety pins in place (don’t remove).

✅ Stains on your jacket? (e.g. hot chocolate) Do not attempt home treatments. Take it to Colonial Valet and show them the stain when dropping off.

Please remember to promptly pick up your dry-cleaned uniform and reattach braids, cords, and neck liner before neatly storing it in your garment bag until the spring.

Your rain coat does NOT get dry cleaned.

The ABRHS and Westford Academy marching bands joined together to perform the National Anthem before the start of the traditional Thanksgiving Day football game. Both bands shared snacks, cider donuts, and drinks after their halftime performances. It was a beautiful day for making music and watching football.

The ABRHS Marching Band seniors were honored today before the annual Thanksgiving Day football game against Westford Academy. Yea Seniors!

Cabaret Night is back with music, dance, comedy, and more! November 19 and 20 at 7pm.
