Hospitality Volunteer Opportunity
No CORI? No problem! ABFOM has an easy volunteer opportunity for you. ABFOM provides beverages for the band and guard for football games, parades, MICCA, and concerts. We need two (2) families to Adopt a Lemonade/Hot Cocoa Canister for the school year. ABFOM provides the canister and drink mixes.
The ask: Make lemonade or hot cocoa in the canister before an event. Deliver the canister and your student to the event. Pick them both up after the event. It doesn’t get any easier than this!

End of Band Camp Exhibition Performance
The AB Marching Band has been working hard this week getting their groove back. The band is excited to present an exhibition performance of the progress they have made on their halftime show Quidam. Join us at Leary Field on Friday, August 20 at 2pm. It’s FREE and OPEN to the public.
One Week Until Chorus Camp!
Chorus Camp starts Monday, August 23 from 8AM-Noon!!
Band Orientation Sunday, August 15
Freshman/Sophomore/New Member band orientation starts at 11AM and will last until 1PM. Attendance is required.
Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to attend a marching refresher from 2pm-3pm.

One Week Until Band Camp
August 15-19
The ABRHS Band Camp runs from Monday, August 16 through Friday, August 20 at the ABR High School. It’s a week of music, marching, hard work, and fun! During the week, students learn the music and drill for the field show. Here’s what you need to know:
- Band camp runs 9 AM to 9 PM with lunch break (12 PM-1 PM) and dinner break (4 PM-6 PM). Friday afternoon ends at 3 PM.
- Freshmen/New Student Orientation is Sunday, August 14 from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM at the high school gazebo.
- Band 101 parent meeting is Wednesday, August 17 at 7:30 PM in the RJ Grey Junior High School band room.
- Band picnic at NARA Park Friday, August 19 from 4 PM-7 PM.
- Car Wash (fund raiser and lots of fun), August 20th from 9AM-2PM (Rain Date August 21st)

AB Music Program Summer Car Wash August 21, 2021
Join us on Saturday, August 21st for the AB Music Program Summer Car Wash! It’s a lot of fun and the proceeds go toward the music program and supporting the kids.
There will be a student sign-up sheet in the band room for the kids to pick slots where they can come help out. Ensure that your student signs up for at least one slot!
The car wash is run in short two-hour shifts so that everyone can participate and no one has too much fun (or sun!).
