Band Orientation, Sunday August 14th from 9:30-11:30 AM

Freshman/New Member band orientation starts at 9:30AM and will last until 11:30 AM.

Attendance is required.

This is an event for your new band student to get to know some of the other band members and get some initial exposure to all the exciting things that will be happening in the upcoming week. It’s very important, but also a heck of a lot of fun!

One Week to Band Camp!

August 15-19

The ABRHS Band Camp runs from Monday, August 15 through Friday, August 19 at the AB Regional High School. It’s a week of music, marching, hard work, and fun! During the week, students learn the music and drill for the field show. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Band camp runs 9 AM to 9 PM with lunch break (12 PM-1 PM) and dinner break (4 PM-6 PM). Friday afternoon ends at 3 PM.
  • Freshmen/New Student Orientation is Sunday, August 14 from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM at the high school gazebo.
  • Band 101 parent meeting is Wednesday, August 17 at 7:30 PM in the RJ Grey Junior High School band room.
  • Band picnic at NARA Park Friday, August 19 from 4 PM-7 PM.
  • Car Wash (fund raiser and lots of fun), August 20th from 9AM-2PM (Rain Date August 21st)

ABRHS Marching Band to Participate in Memorial Day Parade

For the first time since 2019, the ABRHS Marching Band will participate in Acton’s Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies on Monday, May 30th. The parade will step off from the high school at 10AM from Hayward Road. The parade will then continue down Main Street and stop at the town common where an abbreviated ceremony will be held. The parade will then continue down Concord Road to Woodlawn Cemetery where the main ceremony will be held. Please join us in honoring our nation’s heroes.

Madrigal Dinner Is Back!

Hear ye! hear ye! The Madrigal Dinner has returned! Enjoy a catered, four-course meal while the ABRHS Madrigal Singers recreate the romance of Renaissance Europe. The performers, in period costumes, will serenade the audience with vocal, instrumental, and comedic arts.

When: Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 @6:30pm
